I am Tanja Sipilä, a neurotransformation and trauma coach and my passion is to help you understand how your nervous system controls your emotions, reactions and choices. My work is based on a deep understanding of the nervous system, polyvagal theory, attachment relationships and somatic work. Based on these, you will receive practical tools that will help you regulate your nervous system, dismantle old patterns of behavior and build a balanced, meaningful everyday life.
This is not just coaching – this is a journey towards a deeper understanding of yourself and lasting change. You progress completely at your own pace, without pressure to perform, gently and safely. As you understand yourself and free your energy from old fears and limitations, your life can become lighter – truly yours.

MY STORY
Understanding the Role of the Nervous System – The Insight That Changed Everything
In 2020, my life came to a standstill. My company went bankrupt, and at the same time I lost my financial stability, physical well-being, and mental balance . I was living on a three hundred euro monthly budget with no direction for the future. I had been through depression, burnout, and therapy, but still my life seemed to follow an endless pattern, where the same problems and challenges repeated themselves in different forms. I felt stuck – not only in the midst of external challenges, but also in my own body and mind.
In the midst of all this, I began to realize something significant: the problems I faced externally were reflections of my internal state. My nervous system —the invisible system that regulates everything from emotions to reactions— was constantly overloaded and insecure . While I had tried to solve my challenges externally, I had ignored where it all really began.




A revolutionary world in the field of the nervous system and trauma
When I began to study the nervous system, the effects of trauma, and the importance of attachment, everything changed. I realized that the nervous system is not just some " system running in the background ," but that it guides us more deeply than we often realize. The state of the nervous system determines how we experience the world, how we respond to stress, and how we can build balance into our lives.
I also realized that many problems, such as chronic stress, fear, and even physical symptoms , cannot be solved through thinking, therapy, or lifestyle changes alone if the nervous system is not involved in the process. This realization freed me from a huge burden: it wasn't that I was "doing things wrong," but that I had never been given the tools to understand and regulate my nervous system .
When I started working on my nervous system and creating inner security , the changes were almost unbelievable. Physical symptoms , such as chronic bloating, agoraphobia, and menopausal symptoms, began to ease. The weight came off without any changes to my diet or exercise, and I found new energy in my life. But most significantly, my relationship with myself changed : I began to feel safe in my own body and in my life.

Neurowork is not just a method – it is a way to understand yourself and everyone else.
I know that talking about the role of the nervous system can sound complicated or even overly focused on one thing . But the fact is that the impact of the nervous system and trauma on the quality of our lives has been indisputably proven . This does not mean that the coaching I offer is the only right way, but I have found effective methods that combine science and practice.
By regulating the nervous system, we can dismantle old patterns that no longer serve us and create new, more balanced ways of living. This is not a quick fix or one way among others – it is a profound and lasting approach that changes the very foundation of life.

Why is this change so significant?
I have experienced firsthand what it means to live in constant survival mode – and what a huge difference it makes when your nervous system can feel safe. When you understand how your nervous system works , you not only free yourself from old fears and limitations, but you also have the opportunity to create a life that feels truly yours.
Neurowork is not just a momentary change; it is a journey that impacts everyday life:

How do I know this will work?
The changes in my own life have been holistic – physical, mental and emotional. I have witnessed how these same principles and tools also help my clients find their strength and change the direction of their lives. This is not just coaching – this is a profound journey back to yourself, towards balance and freedom.
All of this is based on the latest neuroscientific research and a holistic understanding of the human being . In understanding the role of the nervous system, I particularly utilize:
Polyvagal theory (Stephen Porges), which explores the effects of nervous system activity on emotions, stress, and feelings of safety.
Somatic Experiencing method (Peter Levine), which focuses on deconstructing trauma and regulating bodily reactions.
Trauma-informed thinking , which emphasizes considering the effects of trauma in all aspects of life.
The latest discoveries in neuroscience , such as the importance of neural plasticity (neuroplasticity) as an enabler of change.
This approach doesn’t just look at individual symptoms, but at the person as a whole. We understand how the state of the nervous system affects the balance of hormones, such as cortisol and oxytocin, which in turn affect emotions, coping, and well-being . With these elements, we create the foundation for lasting change – not just momentary relief, but lasting freedom and balance.

I specialize in the multidisciplinary knowledge of neurotrauma and attachment patterns . This area of knowledge is not necessarily yet fully established in academic education, which is why I continuously train at the most important international institutes and organizations in the field . I actively follow leading experts in the field, the latest literature, and other sources of information. All the information and methods I offer in my coaching sessions are based on personal experience and tested practices.
